The Fisher Types R622 and R652 are UL-listed second-stage regulators specifically designed for Two-Stage LP-Gas systems. These regulators reduce the outlet pressure from a first-stage regulator—typically 10 psig (0.69 bar)—to a final delivery pressure of 11 inches water column (27.4 mbar).

• The Type R622 features a standard straight-through body.
• The Type R652 is engineered for back-mount installations.

Both models come with screened drip-lip vents oriented over the inlet as a standard safety feature.

Features

Extended Service Life
• Designed using time-tested engineering and durable materials, the R622 and R652 are built for a 20-year recommended replacement life, provided that proper installation and routine maintenance are followed. Some environments may necessitate earlier replacement.

Enhanced Pressure Regulation
• A large, molded, fabric-reinforced diaphragm and spring-assisted vent stabilizer deliver accurate and consistent pressure control, even under varying system demands.

Superior Overpressure Protection
Integrated high-capacity relief valves and large vents help maintain downstream safety. When paired with the R622H, these regulators limit downstream pressure to 2 psig (0.14 bar)—even in a double failure scenario—exceeding UL safety requirements.

Corrosion-Resistant Construction
• All cast components undergo internal and external coating prior to painting. The relief valve spring and retainer are stainless steel, and the relief seat is made from corrosion-resistant material, ensuring long-term durability.

Debris Prevention
• A stainless steel inlet screen is included to minimize contaminants entering the regulator, protecting internal components and reducing maintenance frequency.

System Monitoring Made Easy
• 1/8-inch NPT inlet and outlet gauge taps, orificed to a #54 drill size, are readily accessible for pressure checks and diagnostics, simplifying system monitoring and maintenance.

Positive Drainage Design
• When installed with the spring case facing downward, any moisture buildup is drained automatically, preventing corrosion or freezing issues inside the spring housing.
